Special Features of Registered Yoga Teacher 500, Shin Somatics & Yoga Alliance
Shin Somatics and Yoga Alliance RYT 500 Certificate (200 + 300 hrs.)
First complete our online RYT 200 program.
RYT 500 requires eight levels of study at Eastwest and an experiential anatomy project. Yoga 500 is through Eastwest and Yoga Alliance. Students who complete Level 8 can be certified through Eastwest, ISMETA and Yoga Alliance. This certificate represents at least 200 + 300 contact hours, background studies, independent studies, and case studies. This level of study includes Yoga Restore Bodywork and the Home Study Program for 200 hrs.
*Inquire about becoming E-RYT, Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher through Eastwest and Yoga Alliance. This provides elegibility for becoming a teacher/trainer in certifying yoga teachers through Eastwest and Yoga Alliance.

This 8-month program begins in April of 2025 with registration of new students at the beginning of each month.
Registered Yoga Teacher 200 with at least 200 hours of training in Shin Somatics® Yoga

This program emphasizes several somatic forms: Land to Water Yoga, Adaptive Chair Yoga, and the challenges of Yoga Flow as conceived through somatic educational principles and therapeutic processes. It also includes the study of restorative yoga for trauma, yoga teaching methods, somatic leadership and interpersonal communication. Program teaches Yoga Techniques and Philosophy, as well as Experiential Yoga Anatomy. This program concentrates on somatic yoga and provides student teaching opportunities.
This concentrated program leads to RYT 200 with Eastwest Somatics and Yoga Alliance (Registered Yoga Teacher with at least 200 hours of training) The certificate for RYT 200 also qualifies students as - Shin Somatics Yoga 200 Teacher.
Total Tuition or RYT 200 $3500
Payment plans are available:
Semester Payment Plan: $1750 for each 100 hrs, billed once upon sign up with final payment processed at the 5 month mark.
Montly Payment Plan: $437.50, billed monthly for 8 consecutive months.
Students in this specialized program for yoga qualify for RYT 200 and Shin Somatics Yoga Teacher 200 after completion of the program. Students can continue with Eastwest Somatics Institute for three certification workshops to add RYT 300 and quality for RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance.
The 200 hour certification option is oriented toward fulfilling Yoga Alliance requirements for those who wish to specialize and Register in Somatic Yoga.
