SHIN SOMATICS MOVING WAY YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

Through Eastwest Somatics Institute, a Registered School with Yoga Alliance


Earn RYT 200, Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance

And Registered Shin Somatics Yoga Teacher

In our 8-month program with week-end and flexible hours

Our EWS and YA Yoga 200 Certification Program

200 hrs. total: Eight months to complete

100 hrs. each semester (four months):

30 hours instruction on Zoom each semester

(3 week-ends of yoga instruction discussions, and breaks)

8 hours of participation videos each semester (2 hrs. monthly)

60 hours independent home study each semester (15 hrs. monthly)

2 hours on Zoom with Primary Teacher/Mentor for the program TBA

20 hrs. of student teaching included in the total hours

This concentrated program leads to RYT 200 with Eastwest Somatics and Yoga Alliance (Registered Yoga Teacher with at least 200 hours of training) The certificate for RYT 200 also qualifies students as - Shin Somatics Yoga Teacher.

Sondra Fraleigh, director of the yoga certification program, is E-RYT 2000,

Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance at the advanced level with a minimum 1000 hours of teaching before 2002 and a minimum of 1000 hours since then.

Catherine Schaeffer, co-director of our yoga program is E-RYT 500 and a yoga continuing education teacher through Yoga Alliance and Eastwest. All of our experienced teacher-trainers are dedicated to excellence and the personal and professional development of every student.

Eastwest Somatics offers two separate segments of yoga training, permitting trainees to receive certificates after the first 200 hours and again after 300 hours of advanced training. Trainees who complete both RYT 200 and RYT 300 programs can register as a RYT 500. Yoga 500 Certificate is described on our website: www.eastwestsomatics.com.
